Empty your mind...   Clear your soul...  Then ask yourself what you believe...

After long years of dedication and hard work at L.A.P.D.’s experimental Psych-Tactics/Terrorist Negotiations (P.T.T.N.) branch of S.W.A.T., TONY BECKENBAUER has reached a much-deserved calm and satisfied moment in his life -- a moment filled with praise and respect from his peers and law enforcement everywhere. His track record in disarming no-win volatile hostage and terrorist situations with sheer intellect and dialogue has clearly spoken for itself -- 100% effective.

But good things don’t last, and the tranquillity proves to be nothing less than the calm before the storm...

A mysterious package soon arrives at Beckenbauer’s home with an anonymous message inside -- a message from his past -- a message which beckons him to seek the answers to the mysterious death of his parents in Cuzco, Peru nearly 30 years earlier. Find the answers, the message states, and Beckenbauer will finally rid himself of the profound, mind-numbing nightmares that have haunted and disrupted most of his adult life. Find the answers, it goes on, and his very life may be spared.

Full of trepidation, Beckenbauer dismisses the anonymous message by burying himself obsessively in his work at P.T.T.N.

Beckenbauer is suddenly called in to handle a by-the-book bank robbery and hostage situation -- a no-brainer. But something goes terribly, terribly wrong, with the disastrous result being the death of seven innocent bank tellers and officials -- and no trace of the gunmen/terrorists anywhere. Beckenbauer is quickly blamed for the tragedy.

Is it just coincidence Beckenbauer now finds himself under Federal Internal Affairs investigation for Abuse of Power under Color of Badge? And why is P.T.T.N. suddenly being disbanded by orders "from the top" -- with Beckenbauer being transferred to a desk job 47 miles away?

As Beckenbauer’s life starts to manipulatively fall apart around him, he realizes those responsible for the mysterious package are somehow responsible for these latest chain of events.

Beckenbauer wrathfully tosses his badge and sets out to find answers...

What he subsequently uncovers surpasses his wildest imagination, along with a global government conspiracy to keep unsettling truths from public knowledge -- truths that could only be construed as the ranting of a mad man.

What begins as a sequence of random inquiries by Beckenbauer into the deaths of his parents and the mysterious package, suddenly cultivates a catalyst of death threats, warnings and the coordinated dissipation of Beckenbauer’s social identity. The deeper Beckenbauer delves and the more questions he asks, the tighter the anonymous opposition becomes -- and the more he is assured he is onto something more sinister than his worst nightmares could ever conjure up.

Who or what could ultimately orchestrate such a monumental web of deceit, lies and manipulation? And more importantly, with such obvious resistance, who was the true sender of the package?

And why does a beautiful lady in a white silk drape-like dress keep turning up out of the corner of his eye almost everywhere he goes? Is she following him? Is she with him or against?

In the end, much to his sudden dismay, Beckenbauer gets all of his questions answered -- answers he now wishes he never would have sought. His life is suddenly thrown in the balance, and he must question his fiercest convictions if he wishes to live. He must look, with his heart, upon a reality with no bounds, a world full of illusion, and a Truth he could never have dreamed up in a thousand years.
