In an ironic twist of fate, tabloid television-reporter Megan
Cross, while interviewing "alien abductees," has a too-close encounter with the
extraterrestrials. Unable to turn to her boyfriend for help -- as he may be one of the
otherworldly creatures -- she abandons her life to work at a clandestine organization
known only as "The Complex," a facility that secretly keeps tabs on the world's
extraterrestrial activity.
Joining her in her struggle to save humanity is an operative
who has mysteriously reappeared in Las Vegas after a five-year disappearance, and Cope
Ransom, a world-weary mercenary who must infiltrate the mutant-infested wasteland that is
now Florida.
Together they discover the terrifying secret about the
invaders...
